I just want to say cheers. I'm fairly sure you posted something like this before and I read through it and it seemed to change the way I looked at things. This has pretty much done the same thing - I really want to get better and for some reason seeing someone that I look up to as an artist seems to kick me into gear.

But yeah - thanks =]

I totally loved this article because it seemed to find it's way to me at just the right time! :D I'm having real problems lately with struggling with colour, but more so with lights and darks. The idea of thumbnailing a few different black and white versions first underneath my lines has really helped me out!!

Thanks! :D

This was 3 for 3 in my book. Great job with all the articles you've done - I've bookmarked all three and read each one several times. This latest was very helpful, especially for beginners like myself. Keep 'em coming! :-)

Thanks for the article. Besides the technical advice, I kind of like how you put some personal information at the bottom, for instance that you gave up on digital art altogether for a while.

I dunno, it's comforting somehow.

Thanks, it was a positive read. I've read most if it before since I do +watch your journal, but it was refreshing to see it again. I've been doing most of what you suggest in order to improve, but I still have a long long way to go.

Is it your site or a site you wrote it for?

It's long, has pictures but I don't have time to read it now. I shall give it a proper read later :)
