I'm really sorry it has taken me so long to update everyone on the matters presented in
this journal. So many of you have donated, and have been so very helpful and generous, it amazes me. I still have e-mails to get through, as well as over 50 notes...
Being a full-time art student really leaves next to no time to take care of a lot of this stuff. I actually had to neglect my work when I posted the first journal and it has set me very behind, so now it's the catch up game.
But, I would like to inform everyone that we met, and exceeded our goal of $3,000 for the surgery. Come to find out, it will cost $3,500, but we were able to pull in a little over $4k. Additional costs will arise, it's a certainty, but it looks like things will be taken care of very soon.
I'm still going to get back to those of you who have noted me, because we are still accepting money for further medical expenses and possible complications.
Thank you to everyone who has helped, both with kind words, journals, and the money donated. You are all amazing people, and I'm glad this community was able to pull together to help out.
And no longer nameless, ~
LindaLisa also wants to thank all of you for the support and generosity. This means more to her than anyone else, and you've helped to save her life.
Take care everyone.
Thanks for keeping us updated!
Just hopes she's learned that insurance can be invaluable.
