I did this as a request for a sick kid at a children's hospital. Spongebob Squarepants is his favorite character and I couldn't think of a more interesting way to paint him than to make him more realistic. I hope he likes it. My heart goes out to him and his family.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
