This was done as a full page black and white illustration for the Halcyon pen and paper RPG from Neuwerld Studios which you can read more about here if a sci-fi RPG of this nature interests you. Personally I don't play anything of this type, but from the Codex and other things I've gleaned from the project, it's looking pretty cool.

This essentially depicts the orbital space tether in the game, which is used for all sorts of spacey things. It connects in San Antonio, Texas and has 8 mag-lev trains that run along the circumference of the Skylift to transport people and supplies.

It was quite a bit of fun to do something more technical in nature and in 3-point perspective, but it also proved to be a pain. Especially when I saved over it at a lower resolution and had repair and touch up much of it.
