Kamikaze Trooperby `Rahll

This is one of a bunch of characters I was hired to illustrate for Molten Monkey Toys, who are developing a new action figure toy line that just debuted at the G.I. Joe convention in Providence, Rhode Island this weekend. The toys are being designed by some of the original G.I. Joe guys, which is pretty sweet.

Anyway, if you couldn't tell by the name, this is one of the bad guys, part of the Virus team. I had a lot of fun painting this dude, fleshing out details is always interesting. Hope you like it, more to come soon!

This is awesome.I really like the attention to details like the disturbed water or how the light is reflected onto the dude's armor. The pose is badass, the textures fit perfectly. Its a really nice piece.

It reminds me of Quake 4, when you dropped into a Strogg base in coffin like ships, shattering everything in your path.

Nothing like a violent entrance.
