Hey guys, thanks to your input the other day, I managed to do a visual FX test for the Hayling short/trailer I want to do. This isn't specifically related, it just just me trying a trick in After Effects so I can learn. Got most of the ideas from Video Copilot, which is great.
Anyway, this is basically a still frame that I animated to look like a flyby. I used Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere for the effects and editing. You can see the original image here. This is my first attempt with anything remotely like this, and I'm pretty happy with the results, even though it's pretty basic.
I have some really cool ideas planned, hope you guys like it. Watch it in 720p if you can.
