Fade to Black by Rahll Fade to Black by Rahll
Was initially a quick portrait, inspired by these Alchemy faces done by ~sandara. Overall, it didn't take very long, but it got sort of dragged out. We all hit those weird funks, but now I'm back out, and ready to rock some more stuff.

I plan to kick my work into overdrive, I really need to work hard and prove myself. Your comments and support are always appreciated, thanks for being great you guys.

Big thanks to `adonihs for the motivation and help, as always. And thanks to =CaelestisTrucido for the support as well, such a sweetheart.

Wow man, this is realy a piece of outstanding art! How do you create the pores on this one? is it a brush or all done by hand? i hope you can give me some tips on that!

Hey, this one I use some custom brushes and texture overlays, but these days I tend to just use a set of custom brushes I made specifically for pores and skin. Thanks :)
