This was my final project for figure illustration. I wanted to give a sense of discovery as well as maybe even desperation. This can be viewed a ton of different ways, which was the intention.

It might be a little dark from the picture, but there are two men in the shadow by the creature who is indeed holding something out to them :D

AWESOME! Love the way this came out! Definitely thought the piece was something special when you uploaded the "draft" before, and man, it sure came out that better than I could've imagined. Totally nailed it! Looks amazing, can't say much more than has already been said better by everyone else. Wish I hadn't been offline for so long and had to wait till now to see this! Again, great job, love it!

Nice work on the spotlight beam, it looks wicked. Creates a very cool effect. The details on the ground and walls are excellent too.

The expression of guy in the foreground looking at us seems a little neutral to me, but otherwise great work. Well done!

Thanks dude... I know what you mean about the expression, though. I really couldn't figure out a good way to make him look, so I gave him that so the composition is more open to interpretation instead of a set-in-stone idea.
