I was inspired by the Discovery Channel show, the Deadliest Catch. Every so often, one of the crab fishing boats disappears, never to be seen again... The Bering Sea is a mysterious and deadly place.

6 hours - CS3 - Cintiq

Edit: I got rid of the massive black border that seemed to be confusing people. The view is out of the wheelhouse.

I feel that the change pulls you into the picture more and makes everything much more dynamic, worth notifying you guys about.

you can't spell believe without lie, and you can't spell slaughter without laughter, isn't it funny how life works, I say enjoy it, life is a joke, and the punch line is death
Oh, I love Deadliest Catch.
I really like the textures and the color palette in this... and the view-from-the-wheelhouse perspective. Brilliant job!
