Been doing a lot of commission work lately, and I needed to do something quick and relaxing to help loosen me up again.

Probably took around 3 or 4 hours, minus some little tweaks when I was done. I wish I had done it higher res, but then I probably would've spent more time than I can spare on it.

I've always had a soft spot for good space art, but this is really only my second time trying my hand at it. I'm developing some decent techniques, but one of these days, I'm going to give it a solid go and really spend some time on one.

Anyway, hope you like it!

You can feel the movement from all the little fragments, like you know something went wrong.

Very nicely done. I for some reason, like this more than a lot of your stuff. It looks as though it took a while to lay out. You should think about doing a series of hi-res wallpapers. I've been waiting for your "circle" of guys to do that for a while.

ah, cinnamon rolls and space art in the mornin'~ i love it

this is beautiful... it doesn't look like three or four hours of work to ME lol so i shall be blown away when you do a piece you "really" spend time on ;D can't wait!
